Board Candidates

We are very proud of this slate of director candidates who reflect the rich diversity and interests of the East Bay – providing expertise in the following areas: labor, small business, affordable housing advocacy, and banking/finance expertise.

In our current governance proposal, the Bank Board will have 15 directors. At least directors will be representatives of the member governments, and the remaining directors will be representatives of the areas of community finance, labor, affordable housing, small businesses, and green energy. These candidates are being proposed to regulators by the Friends of the Public Bank East Bay.

In addition, the Friends, the candidates, and the Bank will organize public meetings where everyone in the East Bay is welcome to learn about the programs of the Bank, and to raise questions and concerns.
