Public Bank East Bay Tabling at the Indigenous Red Market

A PBEB volunteer and an enthusiastic visitor

The Native American Health Center and Urban Native Era are bringing together Indigenous Bay Area artists, designers, and entrepreneurs, for a monthly Indigenous Red Market in Oakland. We were delighted to table there last week, where we had many good conversations with people who came in knowing nothing about public banking … and left knowing more, and liking what they learned.

The market is in Oakland Councilmember Noel Gallo‘s district: here he is (on the left), with one of our volunteers, who also works with Councilmember Gallo’s weekly trash pickups.
